Aggressive Defense Of Drug Possession Charges

Being charged with drug possession can be as simple as having prescription drugs for which you do not have a prescription on you, in a bag or in your vehicle. You could be charged with possession if you have a pipe, lighter or other paraphernalia with residue on it from smoking anything from marijuana to crack cocaine. Additionally, paraphernalia and possession charges could emanate from possession of equipment that may be used to grow, cultivate, package, test, manufacture or store an illicit or controlled substance. In many possession charge cases, police officers overstep their authority and search you, your possessions or your vehicle without probable cause. Illegal search and seizure is a violation of your constitutional rights, and it can be challenged in court effectively by an experienced criminal defense lawyer.
