Sarah Williams joined Scott M. Brown & Associates’ team of attorneys in 2026, adding depth to a team already recognized as one of Southeast Texas’s most credentialed family law practices. Her background spans family law, probate, estate planning, and guardianship – with a personal foundation that shapes she shows up for every client.

Before joining the firm, Sarah practiced as a solo attorney in Pearland, Texas, representing clients across the Houston metro area in divorce and child custody matters. Running her own practice meant being the person who answered the phone, built the strategy, and stood beside clients in court. She brings that same hands-on, client-direct approach to Scott M. Brown & Associates, a firm that serves clients from multiple Texas locations.

Growing up in a blended family gave Sarah something no classroom can teach: a genuine understanding of complex family dynamics. Originally from Louisiana, Sarah stays connected to her roots – visiting extended family and seeking out authentic Cajun food whenever she can. She and her husband, John, spend as much time as possible with their daughter, Caroline. You’ll often find Sarah out walking her dogs, Poppy and Penny, or gathering with friends for a game of Mahjong.
