Bethany LaBelle’s journey toward a legal career began in 2003 when she graduated in Political Science and Business Administration from Houston Baptist University. Before going to law school she earned an additional degree from Alvin Community College in the Applied Science of Legal Assisting in 2007. From there she attended South Texas College Of Law Houston for her

Doctor of Jurisprudence degree, graduating in December of 2016.

Bethany didn’t wait until graduating law school to begin what has now become a very successful career in the practice of law. In 2006 she started as a Paralegal at Ongert & Ongert where she would draft pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, affidavits, and subpoenas. There she got hands-on experience when she would create case summaries and questions for use in depositions and in court, confer with attorneys on strategy regarding court proceedings and cases, assist attorneys at mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials, and more.

Her experience as a Paralegal continued when she shifted to the firm of Krieger & Ongert in 2015. It was there, just two years later in 2017, that she became an Associate Attorney representing clients in family law matters including divorce, suits affecting parent child relationship, paternity actions, termination and adoptions, and enforcements. Her last stop before joining the team at Scott Brown Law, was at Krieger & Tillinger as an Associate Attorney.

Bethany’s certifications and licensures include Notary Public, Certified Mediator, and a license to practice law in Texas.
