As a Senior Partner at Scott M. Brown & Associates, I bring over two decades of legal experience and a deep commitment to helping people through some of the most difficult and personal challenges of their lives. Since joining the firm on January 3, 2023, I’ve focused on delivering strategic, compassionate advocacy to every client I serve.
My work focuses on a wide range of family law matters, including high-net-worth and high-conflict divorce cases, complex child custody litigation, and defense in Child Protective Services (CPS) matters. I also handle terminations of the parent-child relationship and adoptions—some of the most emotional but rewarding areas of law. In addition, I represent clients in matters involving expunction and nondisclosure of criminal records, helping people move forward with a clean slate, as well as probate and estate planning, where I assist families in protecting their legacies with clarity and care.
What I appreciate most about being at Scott M. Brown & Associates is the depth of talent and teamwork and the firm’s multiple locations, which allow us to conveniently serve clients across different communities. I’m fortunate to work alongside a group of experienced attorneys who are always willing to collaborate and exchange ideas. That level of support and shared insight helps us better serve our clients and achieve the results they deserve.
The most rewarding part of my work is knowing I’ve made a difference in someone’s life. Family law, in particular, touches people where they live—in their homes, their families, their finances, and their futures. I never take that responsibility lightly. I aim to guide my clients with care and clarity while fighting for the outcomes that matter most to them.
I grew up in Pearland, Texas, and graduated from Pearland High School. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin three years later, then went on to earn my Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. I’ve been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1999 and am also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Over the years, I’ve developed a reputation for being a strong advocate, detail-oriented, and strategic, especially in high-conflict and emotionally charged cases.
Outside the office, I’m a true Texas girl. I love going to the rodeo, fishing with family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying game nights. I’m also an avid reader and especially enjoy getting into a good book series when I have the time. I live by the belief that mindset and generosity matter. One of my favorite quotes is from Rhonda Byrne: “Life isn’t happening to you, life is responding to you. You receive everything in your life based on what you’ve given.” I also find strength in Luke 6:38: “Give, and it will be given to you…” These words remind me to lead with intention, faith, and compassion in everything I do—both in and out of the courtroom.
