Jim has been practicing law since 1994 and has experience in multiple areas of practice. Prior to joining the attorneys at Scott M. Brown & Associates at one of their locations, he was the managing attorney at his own law firm for over 20 years. He has also been the Chief Public Defender for the Republic of Palau and a Senior Public Defender in the State of Alaska, where he is also licensed to practice law. Jim has handled thousands of criminal cases and has extensive trial experience in matters ranging from speeding tickets to murder. Jim has handled family law matters, including divorce and custody matters, wills & probate cases, personal injury, and insurance litigation. With almost 30 years of experience, Jim has the knowledge and skills to handle your case. Jim is a former police officer and a graduate of Oklahoma City University School of Law.
