Peggy has practiced law in Texas since she was licensed in 1995. Throughout her career at Scott M. Brown & Associates, she and the firm’s team of skilled attorneys have represented thousands of Texans—adults and children—in both state and federal court, trial and appellate court, in all sorts of family law matters extensive experience in Texas divorce cases, handling complex child custody disputes, school law cases, employment law disputes, civil rights cases, probate contests, and other types of civil litigation. She has had federal cases in the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, the Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. She is also a certified mediator and has creatively settled many more cases than not.

Peggy and her wife, Patrise, were the first same-sex couple to be licensed to marry in Brazoria County, Texas.
